A new way to look at complex scientific data in three dimensions is now available in the widely used PDF document format. The IIC’s Astronomical Medicine Project has been experimenting with 3-D PDFs as an interactive tool for conveying astronomical information.
This PDF provides a demonstration of this technology. To experience full interactivity, please open the file using Acrobat Reader 8.1.2 or later.
